How do you handle it when your Dr is clearly disappointed with choices and actions you've made? I already regret what I did and I am embarrassed too. I mean its good I was honest I guess but still...Im mad at myself.

All you can really do is move forward, learn from your mistakes, and take steps so you don't repeat them in the future. That will be the biggest restitution you can make and is really all your pdoc wants.

Just do your best to learn from your mistakes and not do it again. I know with me it was a growing up process. Not wanting to disappoint people and embarrassing myself are good motivations to try my hardest to keep myself well.

No one is perfect. Everyone makes poor decisions. And its a sad fact that people with mental health issues tend to make more poor decisions than average.

But the good news is we can learn from mistakes! Everything can be mended and many times made stronger.

Keep your head up, and try not to dwell on it.

That happens, don't be hard on yourself. If we could properly make decisions at that time it wouldn't be bipolar right.
