I've never experienced support like this before. It's a long time coming.
I've been on this site for just over a week and It just blows me away that there are so many of you out there that truly get it. I truly am grateful to each and every one of you.

In just a week I have so much more awareness and insight into this whole BP thing and I've had it for at least 20 years.

There are some of you, just by your posts and replies that have helped me tremendously and I just want to thank you all.

I agree! Me too! Thank you everyone! I honestly don't know what I would so without all of you and your honesty and your ability to pour it out and share and say the stuff we don't want to say. The people here are so truly helpful and compassionate. There is so much out in the media giving Bipolar such a bad name. If people could just see us....see this...this community of people truly helping each other, holding each other up, encouraging each other to go on. It is astounding. It makes me proud to be Bipolar knowing all of you. If society could see this special community we have here it would give Bipolar a great name! I have been on other Internet forums before and people can get so judgemental and hostile and nasty and snarky. And here on this forum where we are supposedly all mentally ill people are kind and polite and open minded and helpful. It is awesome.

Thank you all! And thank you Plzsti for this thread.

I want to say thank you to everyone too! The people here have really supported me over the past few months, especially when I was depressed. I have learned a lot from all of you, and I appreciate anyone who takes the time to read my posts and/or reply. This place feels really safe.

I've been around here awhile now, but I am still amazed at how giving and caring the members of this forum can be. I don't know what I would've done without it in the early days after my diagnosis.....I was devastated, didn't know anyone else with this problem, and the only person I could really talk to about it was my pdoc. No one else "got it". You guys do. And that's why I'm still here.

There are allot of great people here who have helped me, the generous spirits they are. I also thank all of you for your emotional support and excellent suggestion. This is quite a special place for me.

In every situation there is always something to be grateful for and BP makes it very hard to find anything to be grateful for.

I'm so glad to read these replies. I hope the thread goes on and I hear more about what people are grateful for.

Thanks to you & everyone else on here, too. I've been a new member just a few weeks & get so much out of reading everyone's posts. It's good to have a place to share, rant, get positive feedback & encouragement as well as ideas for what works for other people.
