To avoid the slice you have to be smooth
and never snooze
and stay off the booze
and if you are in the blues
you could find yourself in the news
of people you know
doesn't life just blow
sometimes
then you can try to have fun times
but there's nobody to have them with
so you just sit, sit and wish
maybe success a big myth
because success is to be with
but I am without
yet I have no doubt
and try to never pout
but I'll never get clout
and stay under someone's snout
but never will I pout

Then an eviction notice at my door
No place to lay down and snore
No longer is it all a bore
I can't take this crap anymore
At least it's not a bore
But I can never snore
Then the cops came and soon life as I knew was no more
I was in jail where I could never get to snore
Or live a normal life no more
All of them, they deplore
Those in my place
Then, the guard sprayed me with mace
To Put Me In My Place
They say I disrespected the human race
For not falling into a normal place
That reality I must face
So, I am seen by others as merely a waste
and in jail I sit, forever and ever
In and out of it
