I just got back from a 45 minute weight lifting session. Deadlifted 315 pounds for 8 reps. Bench Presses 225 pounds for 8 reps and some other feats of strength!

Raw endorphins and dopamine flowing in my brain.... Feels awesome. My Pdoc said the exercise is critical to blow of stress and avoid my mixed state outbursts. He says to exercise frequently, if needed.

I have been lifting seriously for almost 2 years straight and it's an amazing mood stabilizer for a bipolar person, men and women both, I strongly recommend it.
