This might be in wrong place, but I thought someone here might could help. Due to myself as well as some other members being lonely and isolated and since us bipolars know each other better than anyone, how could an adult bipolar singles group be started.

I started to do it in the groups last night, but my paranoia of looking like an idiot got the best of me.

Suggestions anyone?

your title made me laugh,,,,,in a good way....its been a while since I have been manic but boy do I remember all the wonderful ideas I used to get..lol

I don't know how it works, but you can certainly start a group. I don't even know how many members you need to start one but I am sure there is a sticky around somewhere that outlines all the details and there is no shortage of people with bipolar on the boards who may be interested.

good luck in your quest.

I hope no one thinks I'm nuts or a fruit cake or a box of fruity pebbles because I'm accepting it fairly well.

I saw where Robin Williams is possible bp, and when I'm not depressed, I have had a lot of off the wall humor especially at work through my years. I tried to make people laugh. Old saying laugh to keep from crying. In fact, if I'm not cussing myself, I'm laughing at myself.

I've never did stand up before, but maybe Robin and I could do a routine to bring laughter to this to ease the stigma attached to it.

Can anyone say, Nano, Nano.

How about instead of Shark Tank perhaps "Idea Tank". Maybe I would have a chance to win something for the first time in my life.

I hate crying. I'd much rather laugh instead! It's what I want to be remembered for when I pass on---my sense of humor and ability to laugh at myself.
