I know some drugs can do some really nasty stuff to peoples guts as the body is getting used to them...I don't know of anything specific to Cymbalta...but I am not familiar with that drug at all...so...could be a side effect.

I've been on Cymbalta, or its generic equivalent, for 2 years now. And I can't say I've had this problem nor have I heard of it before. You might want to check with your doctor. Perhaps there's something else going on...

I've noticed when I eat more junk foods and highly processed food it stinks much more than when I eat raw and healthy foods. Has the meds or the illness caused you to change your normal food choices? Some meds make me crave processed food with all it's sugar, salt and fat.

Since I've started on it, I crave salt.
The saltier, the better
And I was not one for salt before Cymbalta

IMO it simply is what you are eating and not your med.
