I'm bipolar and have been doing ok until recently. Went through a major break up and job struggles. Things are finally getting better but I know I need more help if i'm going to get better. Currently on Syroquel but havent' seen a doctor in awhile my insurance is finally back but I don't even know if I can afford to go see him so I thought i'd try some support groups. Hello everyone and I hope to find some friends here.
Hugs from:

I just found this place 6-7 weeks ago, and I have been visiting and posting daily. This is the best Bipolar support group I have ever encountered! I am addicted! I have already made good friends here, and we all understand eachother, since we are all bipolar!

Welcome.

Welcome to PC, BrianWins!

It looks like you have already found your way on the forums here. You have come to a great community; PC is made up of members who are supportive, caring, and understanding of each other. I also would like to tell you that once you have 5 approved posts you will be able to join in the chat rooms and social groups. If you have any questions getting around here feel free to private message (PM) a Community Liaison and we would be happy to assist you.

Once again welcome to PC; best wishes!!!

Welcome!

I agree with others, it's the best help community I've been a member of. People here are great and they will help you with your problems and answer your questions.
We are all in the same sh** and sometimes it's good to know your not alone since your family and relatives and friends can't understand what your going through.

Once again, welcome!

The first thing I would do is go and see your doctor and see if you need adjustments. Its always good to get a mental health check up every so often.

Ive made my own adjustments recently thanks to a new doctor. Instead of being treated only with meds, she has set me up with a therapist. I have lost a ton of weight so I picked up exercising which has boosted my confidence and helped a lot with the bipolar. Then I have this forum. I wasnt to sure about it at first, but Im really shy at first and the more I posted and replied the more comfortable I got.
