...but under control.
Having trouble sleeping, restless, wired, pleasure seeking, risky behavior, impulsive.

I'm being very careful with my finances, luckily I have no credit cards, and I am pretty conservative with my bank account. So I'm not too worried about blowing my money in a hypomanic spree.

I'm still medicated at 200mg Lamictal, which is keeping me balanced, but I think I might have to increase it, or add to it. my life isn't horribly stressful right now, and I have a good doctor, so I'm really not worried about going into insane mania.

Just slightly hypo, at least I'll get a lot done while in this phase!

It's fun, as long as I sleep and stay in control. I am cautious though, as last time this happened, I didn't take my bipolar diagnosis seriously and went way off the deep end into mania.

This time, I'm much more prepared and have professional help. (Pdoc/therapist). He's great.

I hear you, you have to be careful because it can all too easily tip into full-blown mania. I hope you can maintain control! I'm glad you have support this time around, it can really make a huge difference.
Thanks for this!

I have been like for a few days...when things are work are all crazy and busy, it tends to be a trigger for me.
Thanks for this!

I still smoke cannabis for depression, but like any antidepressant, I think it can make my mania worse, (based on past experiences) so I will be quitting that. That'll save some money too!

OMG! I agree with you 1,000,000% on that first sentence. I cross over into what my husband calls "hypidity" (hyper-stupidity). It usually ends with someone getting hurt, most likely by rough horseplay. When it's over, I'm lower than a worm in dirt for days.

Must be that time of the year...i have been wondering if I am. I've slept one full night out of the last two weeks. Spent all of the week before lasts paycheck when i had a budget actually hand written out. Thankfully no risky behavior, but i have been considering s.i. a lot more lately although i haven't in a month. Glad to hear you are doing a great job if maintaining control!

Holy moly, I just had one of the most awesome days of my entire life! From the moment I got up, until now (12am midnight) I accomplished a whole pile!
Cleaned the entire house inside and out, upside and down!!! Took a nice nap, listened to my favorite music blasting all day, went to the gym, lifted huge weights, then had dinner and had a wild party with a friend! Drinking wine and listening to intense electronic dance music!

Yeah, I'm hypomanic, but it's totally awesome! I feel great!
Totally relaxed, gonna sleep like a baby now, and wake up and take my meds.
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!

Kind of coming back down today to normalcy. I guess I hit my mania peak yesterday.
Oh well, what goes up, must come down. I guess it's better I peaked without any serious consequences.
