When I'm alone I talk to myself. I ask questions, I get answers. I tell jokes, I laugh.

I never did this as a child and often told people to shut up if they were talking aloud.

I've seen kids do this, most days I want to talk out loud. I don't because I'll get called crazy.

I want to talk to myself.

I see nothing wrong with it. I have come up with some amazing epiphanies and cognitive breakthroughs by verbalizing out loud to myself. For some reason, it is more effective than just thinking quietly.

I do it all the time. At home, at work. Yeah people might think I'm a little off but my performances in my work are more efficient when I voice things out loud.

I'm constantly running a dialogue with myself. Sometimes even out loud. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I do find it helps me process things.
