Ok so I have no diagnosis of bipolar and this is my 2nd thread here in the bipolar forum and I am making this thread out of a suggestion but ok latly I have been feeling very happy, creative, energetic to the point where I can't sit still, moving around really fast laughing and smiling at random times and I don't feel like a need sleep that much I have too much energy. I am very irritated at everything pretty much too. Also I'm 12. Is this mania?
Ok 1 word a second still minimal typos cuz of autocorrect.. Nice

I'm no doctor so I can't "diagnose" anything but I can give you my thoughts This does sound like hypomania to me. I suffer from hypomanic episodes and what you describe sounds similar to what I experience. My advice would be to keep a daily journal of moods and take note of all daily symptoms. And if you feel your symptoms are severe enough and you have documentation (this always helps doctors) you can see a psychologist or psychiatrist. I would do some research on hypomanic episodes and BE CAREFUL! If you notice you're doing anything dangerous or harm talk to your parents about seeing a doctor right away. Good luck!

I'm hesitant to confirm or deny since you are so young honestly. And since I am not a doctor. If you are concerned you really ought to speak to your parent/guardian and see if you can get in to see a doctor.

I agree with Wild ... You are very young and it could just be a hormonal thing ? Talk to your parents if you can.... if not talk to a school counselor...

Good luck

You want to rule out all physical issues before looking into psych issues.

You are very young, as others have said. It would be really difficult to diagnose you with a mood disorder at this point in your life. You are also going through the beginning stages of puberty, and your hormonal system is on overdrive. I'd wait it out, and see if the symptoms get worse before seeing a psychiatrist.
