If you just found out your pregnant call your pdoc tomorrow. If I could do it again I would go off meds and into partial hospitalization for my pregnancy.

I am pregnant and Bipolar.

Are you pregnant now or are you planning ahead?

I am on my Lamictal. The high risk docs counseled me that this is fine. I needed to increase my dose in the first trimester because I was on a fairly low dose and the hormones knocked me into a bad depression. I am absolutely fine now. This is my third pregnancy.
Thanks for this!

blood test was negative, but it was 2.5 weeks too early. i still have no signs of a period, which is due either this week or next. so i'm still hanging in the balance. i'm still not sure.

A potential pregnancy (especially unplanned) is scary for just about everyone.
I wasn't on meds when pregnant with my son. I lost my job and cut myself a bit during the second trimester.
But, with the right support, I made it and I get to see "the fruits of my labor" every day.
Good luck! Keep us updated.
