1.Can bipolar 2 turn into type1? 2.Can you experience mixed episodes in typ2? Sorry for the questions my inet explorer is lousy and i prefer to ask the people

Ive been referred , i was suppose to go see a pyscologist but i went into mania now my doc is arranging a pyciatrist appointment and monitering me while i come down off citalopram .

it's not exactly turn into Bipolar 1. It was only that when you're diagnosed with 2, the symptoms of 1 aren't present or obvious. The diagnosis can def change when your doc feels possible.
I am still bipolar 2, though i get mixed or rapid cycling at times. i have no idea why it's still 2. may be the doc thinks it's too early, just out of the blue, or smth. at times i get psychosis without mood problems, but yea...

Bipolar 1 means depression and mania, bipolar 2 means depression and hypomania. Whether you're rapid cycling or mixed doesn't matter, it's the manic phase that makes the difference.

Like others have said, you are type 2 if you have had hypomania but never mania. If you have an episode of mania the diagnosis changes from type 2 to type 1. It is possible to have a mixed state in type 2 (hypomania and depression mix). In DSM-IV mixed state was only in type 1, but that was changed in DSM-V to allow for mixed states in both types.
