I recently came out of a wicked 3-month long depression. Found out my favorite psychiatrist quit our local clinic, and now I feel like I'm going into mania!

Luckily, I found a new Psychiatrist who upped my meds. But all my symptoms are getting worse.

I'm up at 4am for no reason, I'm talking fast, my head is racing, I feel sped up.

It's weird, its coming on slowly. Like watching a bad horror movie, you see what's coming before anyone else.

I'm not sure what to do with myself.

I'm a little scared, and confused. My thoughts don't make sense right now.

Suppose, I'm just looking for support during this time!

Please call your Pdoc first thing in the am ...You dont want to get worse over the weekend and have very limited options to get help.

Right now try coping skills ,, Meditation , Mindfulness, breathing exercises, Do you have a good support system around you? Sounds odd but intense cardio exercise can help settle things down with burning off excess energy. Take a hot shower.

Just keep flinging coping skills onto it until something sticks

Thank you ~Christina!

I'm actually headed to my pdocs tomorrow. I'm going to tell him for sure what's going on.

I did today run on my treadmill for a bit to expend some energy.

Thanks for the other ideas too!
