I went yesterday the person I saw was the on call from a few weeks ago. She seemed to understand better what was going on when I was sitting in front of her rather than trying to explain it over the phone. She praised me and the strength it takes to maintain this. Meds were changed because she did agree I needed some relief quickly. As I was describing my experiences she kinda laughed, not in malice, and said yep you're manic. And on my visit summary she put bipolar 1. I'm stepping off the buspar, viibryd is staying the same, lamictal is going up to 200mg, and I'm taking 50mg of seroquel 2x's a day, and 200mg of seroquel xr at night. We'll see what new Pdoc says next Wednesday.

Im glad you got in and she was able to "see" how you were ... one thing you can do it just get say 5 or so pills of the seroquel xr because it is expensive , just to try it out and make sure it will actually help you instead of buying the whole amount and find it not helpful .. I have done this many times .. Saved alot of money.
