I've been on Latuda for 2 months now. Works great. The best drug I've ever been on. No side effects but one.

It leaves me with no appetite. It has to be taken with 300 calories, if not it won't metabolize. I've been forgetting to eat or not eating at all. 300 calories at one sitting is a lot for me which means I miss doses.

Anyone taking Latuda have this problem?

Hello, Skitz13. Does your doctor and/or psychiatrist know about this. Seems some adjustments are indicated.

I wish you well.
Thanks for this!

I just started on latuda, also. In addition I had oral surgery and have to eat a liquid or very soft diet. I found that a smoothie made with maple syrup as sweetener got me a decent number of calories. My doctor said I could even just take the real maple sugar straight. It doesn't have to be a traditional meal. (24 oz of green smoothie made with sugar from tropical smoothie was about 477 calories). Hope that helps.
Thanks for this!
