So, I have to often close one eye to read and sometimes even drive. This scares me but I'm fairly certain my vision is fine. Has anyone ever experienced blurry vision as a side effect? What med(s) caused it? I take a slew of them. Thank you!

Hi, I have never experienced blurry vision as a side effect from medication. But I did do an eye test, as I was reading with one eye closed also, to find out I had astigmatism.

I hope you figure out what's going on with your eyes, it can be rather depressing in a way.

How long have you had this blurry vision? When was the last time you had your eyes checked? Does your family doctor know about your blurry vision? That could be a sign of another illness such as diabetes. Not diagnosing, just sharing information.

Blurry or distorted vision is a known side effect of Lamictal. You'll want to call your p-doc to let him know of the symptoms. I had that occur when I took Lamictal- which was such a shame- because other than the vision problems- I responded really well to the medicine. Good luck and keep us posted on what happens!

Take lamictal and klonopin and have definitely noticing blurry vision. Am going tomorrow to get me eyes checked. Not messing around, my eyes are just crucial. Want to make sure I can see to drive and do close work.
