I take .5mg of xanax at night along with lamictal. I take it and then crawl in bed and read or watch tv, but it seems that I barely remember in the morning anything I read or talked about to my husband in the morning.

I also very rarely take a pill during the day for anxiety. Up until very recently it never affected me in a negative way, but lately when I take the exact same dosage I have been taking it seems to make me spacey and out of it.

I plan to ask my pdoc about this, but was wondering if any of you have had a similar experience when all of a sudden meds affect you differently. btw- there have been no med changes or diet changes etc

Thats a common complaint of Xanax or any benzios to be honest. I deal with it sometimes.

Best to run all this by your Pdoc.
