So I went and saw my new pdoc last night and he says I was misdiagnosed as schizoaffective. He thinks all my hallucinations were caused by the antipsychotics I was on because I've had no hallucinations since he took me off of them.
I'm depressed as all get out right now but we're working on adjusting my new meds. He just raised my lithium and cymbalta and brought my klonopin down to prn status. Hopefully it does something because I'm not coping well.

Going through med changes can be so discouraging. I used to think I'd feel better right away, but for me that wasn't the case. Please be kind to yourself and know that you will cycle out of the depression.
