Yeah, only going to be on Lamitical gone down 3 drugs. I love everyone's advice. Doing Melitonin tonight, starting with 3mg. Yeah!

My Bipolar daughter only takes Lamictal and is doing fine.

Lamictal is powerful for me as a mono therapy.

Great to hear hopefully it works! If it doesn't it's okay, just like some people need a few meds for high blood pressure you might need meds of bipolar disorder. If you do; you might look into Latuda, Cymbalta, and Ativan...remember it's all about finding the right dose...best of luck and keep us posted!

Be SUPER careful with the Melitonin! It gave me the most terrifying dreams, I had problems sleeping for weeks after due to the anxiety of thinking I might have another one.

The Lamictal worked well for me while I was able to take it. I can tell a difference since my prescription ran out, and I don't like the way I've been feeling now at all so I hope that if it works for you that you can stay on it. I had excellent results and only occasional dizziness as a side effect. I think it is a good, safe drug for bipolar.
