Hey everyone, its been a few months since I've posted on here and I hope you are all well.

I'm on my fourth month of quetiapine (taken with sertraline) and usually it knocks me out in to a dreamless sleep for 8 hours without any disturbance.
The past three nights however have been plaguing me with the most sickening and vivid dreams! I understand this is a side effect of quetiapine for some, I was just wondering why now three months later when I hadn't had this issue before? Can anyone shed light on this?

I've also felt very down the past two weeks, especially this week feeling like I can't cope with situations which has seemed to struck me out of the blue. Am I getting tolerant to the meds? Do I need to up my dose?

Maybe the life situations that have caused your depression have also caused the nightmares rather than the medication, especially since you have been doing so well with it. Before jumping to any change with your meds, maybe talking out the life events with someone would be helpful ... and make your nights more peaceful. Talking things out with an understanding person always helps me.

BTW, I also had vivid nightmares last night but I have had some major life changes/challenges recently and I ate a big dinner very late.

I"m taking saphris again and during the 4 hour nap yesterday I had 3 weird as heck dreams...one was a recurrent nightmare about my job I had in the 80s (the job itself was a nightmare, I keep dreaming I'm back in it) and of course the good vs bad vampires. I won't say what the third one was, it was just too disturbing.
I certainly understand what you mean about crazy dreams.
