Is one mania episode consists of feeling like Superwoman and then changes to anger and iritability in the same day? Or is that pattern 2 maniac episodes? So confused.

[QUOTE=~Christina;3981292]Sounds like a Mixed episode to me. Does your Pdoc know about this ?[/QUOT
My primary care doctor knows and referred me to a psychiatrist but not for two weeks. I am currently taking 20 mgs abilify and 50 mgs zoloft. At one point i discontinued all my meds without medical advise because i wasn't feeling better. I did notice though that my maniac depression and a overload of emotions came back. So I am not psychiatrist but I have spent hours researching and I think that the abilify and maybe the zoloft help with the maniac depression, because I dont have maniac depression. But I do have mania like explained. So if it is mixed episodes I think my medications that Im currently on take away the maniac depression. Another option is rapid cyling. I think I have not been on the correct medicine for years thus causing my bipolar rapid cycling. 7 years ago I was diagnosed bipolar two or just really depressed. But I also didn't tell him all my symptoms and at the time I wasn't going through any mania episodes just really depressed. Grrrr..........sorry I just wish I knew what was going on. Also how much better is bipolar when you are treated with the right medications? 50% better? 80? What else can I do to better myself?
