My last therapist argued with me about the definition of BP1 and BP2 -- I told him 2 was milder (which is my dx) and he disagreed....seriously your a psychologist and you don't know this basic fact.
Our doctors and therapists can be a great asset or a nightmare. I've been searching for a therapist/psychologist for therapy for 12 years. The last one took 20 min out of our 50 min session to write me a receipt for my copay. They're not all diamonds. Lol

Believe my fears are similar to the ones already mentioned but if I had to list just two...

1) successful suicide
2) falling back into major depression

If I can manage to keep those two in check.. life for me and everyone else around me will be better

Before I got my new better psychiatrist, my wife might have left me. I could not stand to loose her, but doing much better now on medication. My only daughter, age 23, had negative feelings about and toward me, and now only more acceptable of me, but still does not huge me coming and going back to college. Wife says give it time but don't know what will happen. I still can say, a few times, the wrong thing to daughter.
