hi everybody,

I have a brand new mental health advocacy page on FB and I am looking for pictures of medication trays that work for you. I have tried many different ones until I settled on something that is perfect for me, but I take medications twice a day. I need preferred choices from people who take medications 1, 3, 4 times a day. Your help would be greatly appreciated. All info private (i.e. I will not publish the usernames by default) unless you explicitly tell me that you want to be credited, and then I will publish it as a tip from PsychCentral user ABC.

Many thanks!

PS If you have a little box for your purse or backpack that you like, please send that, too.

Either photos or links to pages where one can buy your preferred product would work. Much, much thanks!

I use a large makeup case and just carry the pill bottles in that with me, emptying from the giant 90 day bottles into smaller bottles I saved. Never did have much patience/memory for pill case maintenance. And it even has some extra space for makeup! I figure if it goes in my purse, and I never forget that, then I won't forget my meds wherever I go.

Cymbalta, 60mg -- for the depression.
Latuda, 40mg -- for the paranoia (delusional type).
Adderall, 40mg XR & 5 mg reg -- for the ADD.
Xanax, .5 mg as needed -- for the anxiety.
Topamax, 50mg -- still figuring this one out.

MDD, but possibly have some form of Bipolar Disorder. Then again, I could be paranoid . . .

Well, at least I still have my sense of humor.
Thanks for this!

Right now i use 5 re-containers, as follows:

1. A large (approx 8"x10") 28 (4 week by 7 day) tray that holds my nightly buckload of meds.

2. A small 2 entry container, thats holds Fri & sat night meds when i refill the 28 tray on friday afternoon, every 4 weeks or so. This could easily be filled to travel, but i never go anywhere anymore!

3. A 7 day tray - i take only 2 meds in the morning, one of which is a baby aspirin, and i can easily fit a months worth in it.

The above 3 trays are stored in my dressing room.

4. A 14 day tray is stored near the dining area, with a months worth of my one mealtime med.

5. A keychain screwtop cylinder holds more mealtime med for meals out.

All of these are available at any drugstore. I think you need to choose based on the size and qty of meds you take at different times of the day.

I keep my pill bottles, also cough medicine and misc med stuff like eyeglass repair tools in a small hard antique-ish makeup train case - really cute!.
Thanks for this!

You know how it is - women and men get bipolar equally, but women look for treatment more often than men.

Women with anxiety look for treatment MUCH more often than men, and it is not true that anxiety strikes women only.

Because of that, I do not expect that I will get a lot of males looking at the page anyway, so the content will be targeted mostly to females.

That said, your solution is not in fuchsia and ballerina pink colors, so I do not see why a guy would not be happy to imitate it.

Hmm, very good points! I did not think of it that way!

I use the exact same tray! I think it's very useful because each box has four compartments. This is helpful because I take pills at different times during the day, so I'm not restricted by the AM/PM format.

This is key info. I did not realize the boxes have compartments. I will update my description of this solution. Yup, it seems to be the best of all - an overall winner.

Where can one buy this colorful solution?

Clearly, the colors themselves say NOOOOO to depressed mood, so I want to be able to direct viewers to a commercial page where they can purchase this.
