Do any of you guys get sick easily? I seem to get every cold and stomach virus just walking into a room.

I wash my hands as often as possible and I carry hand sanitizer.

What is up with that? Anyone else have this problem? I cant help but wonder if its a bipolar thing or what.

Do any of your meds have the side effect of lowering your white blood cell count? I think I've read that as a possible side effect for certain meds, just can't remember which. You should look into it. Drugs.com has pretty comprehensive info on side effects for all different meds (as well as interactions lists, which are fun too).

Cymbalta, 60mg -- for the depression.
Latuda, 40mg -- for the paranoia (delusional type).
Adderall, 40mg XR & 5 mg reg -- for the ADD.
Xanax, .5 mg as needed -- for the anxiety.
Topamax, 50mg -- still figuring this one out.

MDD, but possibly have some form of Bipolar Disorder. Then again, I could be paranoid . . .

Well, at least I still have my sense of humor.

I used to.
Seems I was sick all the time.
Now, I avoid door handles, the railing on stairs, even the elevator button. I use sanitizers all the time .. even rubbing some on the handle of shopping carts!
Whenever I go to a store or an appointment I sit as far away from people as possible. This is a biggy: I'm terrified of kids and will do anything to avoid them as they seem to carry germs the most.
I also started taking Vitamin B and D. AND always get the flu shot every fall.
Precaution is my mantra now...good luck to you.
I hope you win at this battle.

I catch everything going around too.
I have a friend who is a certified herbalologist, and she recommends a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar a day. So far it seems to be working

Nope. In fact, when BF is sick, he'll be all like "oh, but the germs!" I will laugh. "Pffft, I'm not afraid of your germs!" (Other people's germs are another matter altogether…It's not that I'd get sick necessarily so much as they totally gross/wig me out, and I steer clear.)

Kids! So true! I won't even get in line at the grocery store behind them. Ugh. Heh. And I hate the street-crossing signals that you can't bop with an elbow.

Oh. And buzz bee, I've also noticed a high correlation of not getting sick with washing my hands first thing upon getting home from anywhere. First thing, straight to the sink. I won't even pet my pet before I do. It would feel like anointing her with the plague(!) Another good thing to remember is to keep your hands away from your face. People tend do that more than they realize. No (heehee) or going in to get that lodged popcorn kernel… Even if it's driving you bonkers. Not worth it.

I was last sick in Jan of 2013.

I only wash hands when absolutely necessary and NEVER EVER touch hand sanitizer - I avoid hand sanitizer like plague. Also, I do not use antibacterial products.

I eat yogurt daily, and drink liquids throughout the day. That is about all - yogurt/avoiding antibacterial anything/drinking lots of fluids.

Yes, I get sick every time somethings going around it seems! I was sick for SIX STRAIGHT MONTHS this year with a sinus infection!! Three rounds of antibiotics & loads of over the counter meds later I finally got over it. I literally thought I was going to die there for awhile. This was AFTER I got the first flu shot I've ever had too! Although it's probably not related, I don't think I'll be getting another flu shot ever again.

Usually I get sick once a year. I'm rarely ever around children so I think that protects me. I always wash my hands with real soap after I use the loo, before I eat and when I come home.

When there is a norovirus epidemic I avoid eating at restaurants.

FLONASE is far more effective than the OTC crap. It is a prescription spray.
