What helps you?
I am bipolar 1 with other issues. I currently take meds and goto therapy, although I think therapy is a waste.
Meds and other things like exercise and eating healthy seem to help.

What works best for you?

Meds are what helps me. The difference is really night and day. I've tried therapy in the past and it made my problems significantly worse, so definitely not going there again.

I don't find that exercise helps my moods, but it does make me feel better physically, which is nice.

Therapy doesn't do s*** for me. It's a huge waste of my time and resources.

Other.

Having meaning in life. Spirituality. Living right. Eating right. Enjoying the moment. Looking for good omens. Going to meadows to pick herbs for my own tinctures. Guided imagery. Mental shielding. Not giving a **** for WWOS (what would others say).

Meds and therapy (I'm fortunate enough to have a pdoc who does both). Good sleep hygiene also helps greatly.
