For years, starting long time ago, like thirty plus years back, my relationship with my older brother, and sister, has not been so good. Now I am thinking it must have mostly been, my fault. Like with my illness I thought they had been trying to put things over on me. Actually I can now understand I probably am responsible. Then I'd rehash it all over and over in my head. The three of us were part owners in properties, and that alone made things complicated. I have never been close to my brother or sister. I assume they are close to each other. Anyway has any others had family problems such as mine.

Before I learned coping skills and got on meds I was at times a hot mess, and that strained my relationship with my siblings. They both need to see me coping and being the strong one. I'm sorry to hear you had some difficulties with your siblings. Seems the way with human relationships, doesn't it?

Has anyone ever stated you were the reason you have had problems with your siblings? Like did they say that it was your fault?

I doubt the problems were all caused by you. Yeah you have bipolar but that doesnt mean its all on you.. Do you have a Therapist you can process all this with? Don't stuff yourself in a guilt ridden box.. You deserve a life of happiness not self loathing.

Best wishes

Agreed! I was hoping there were no fingers pointed because that would be unfair.

I always say it takes 3 to tango so I'll throw in my verdict and say no it wasn't all about you.
