I am currently "down". Though, in the evenings I start feeling good, not a full "up". I typically transition every 2-3 weeks.
I'm taking 200mg of Lamictal and started taking Doxapen for sleep. I take everything at night.
Could the good feeling be bc the medicine has worn off? Maybe I'm on too much? Or maybe I'm just having a mood change. My counselor has told me she treats some Bipolar people that transition daily, weekly, etc..... .??

I don't know. I just love feeling good. Anything is better than depression.

Though, when I'm "up" at night I don't recall shifting "down".

I often feel this way but I have always been a nite owl. So I typically feel better at night.

Lithium has a half life of roughly 24 hours give or a take a few. Maybe its wearing off ? Always that chance, doesn't always mean that your over medicated , best to let your Pdoc know. When was your last Blood tests done?, and Doxapen you couldnt pay me to take that again,, Day 3 it slung me into a hellish mixed episode.

Are you on any other Psych meds? any other meds in general? anything new?

Some people do cycle more often than others, it's honestly very rare for someone to cycle daily( Gah I can't imagine) or weekly(ack), It can happen but again its rare.. Often its found that what people may label as rapid cycling is really a mixed episode or brought on by med changes or something.

I hope you find some answers

I usually feel a bit more "relaxed" during the evening because the day has passed and I block my mind of anything I need to do the next day. This was especially the case when I was working. In general my mornings suck but by evening they're just ok. Not super. But bearable. Sometimes. My meds I take at night still make me groggy and I can sleep a lot in the morning. By dinner time I don't feel the grogginess as much.

I agree with this. Also IMO there can be swings of mood without it being Bipolar mood swings. I also feel much better toward the evening. I never did understand why.

I also feel better in the evenings. The bulk of the day has passed and i look forward to going to sleep. Sleep is an escape for me.

You may feel anxious in the morning because of all the duties and tasks of the day, and more relaxed at night when you know you have done the work of the day already. You may be well fed by evening but hungry in the morning. You may not be a morning person. Or, something else - there are so many maybes.

The 'funny' thing is that I feel exactly the opposite (more anxious in the evening): I think the reason is I'm still afraid I can't sleep

Oh, that is nerve-wracking! One of my biggest anxieties is about sleep. And then there is a vicious cycle - the more anxious I am that I would not be able to sleep, the harder it is to sleep. I quip that for me Zyprexa (the last resort for sleep) is essentially an anxiolytic (I do not have psychosis and take it strictly to force sleep).
