I was diagnosed with Bipolar II Disorder in 2009 although several psychiatrists believe it first manifested itself when I was a teenager. (I am a young senior citizen now.)

I joined this site so that I might find support from others. I only have one family member with whom I have an active relationship and the majority of my friends are too involved with their own lives to give much time to mine. There are no Bipolar support groups in my area. So, I hope to find the support and advice that might help me through an online forum. I hope my experiences and thoughts can be beneficial to others here as well.

I understand. I have no support except here either. Seems like now I am on here all the time just to feel a little normal.
