Hi everyone

I recently had my first episode during last years spring semester, and am still trying to recover financially from my failed courses caused by hospitalization. My family stopped supporting me and now i am on my own to find the money for next semester.

Has anyone been in a similar situation? How on earth did you over come this?

Thanks

I had to wait until I had a child to continue. Are you going to a state university or private college? Is community college an option. What about testing out of the classes you failed? Can you get work study?

I had to dig my way out each time. There's no easy path. I am sorry you've lost the support of your family. Can you get a student loan, plus work study for income? And of course, find the right med combo and get stable. Take care of your health, etc. It's hard to know what kind of suggestions to make without knowing more.

Still digging out. Lots of student loans and money mostly spent on housing due to crap. Will be paying long time. What I do know. Can't take schooling away once have it. I take one day at a time. Keep it in perspective! Your safe, able to move on, and can over come this.
