I see my NP tomorrow but this feels very good. Not sure I want it to go away but part of me knows I have to hopefully level back out to avoid any catastrophic consequences.

I feel ggggoooooooooooooddddd!

Imagine all the great poets, artists and writers decided to level out and become normal we'd have nothing in literature or art of any value.

I understand the creativity that goes with mania but "normal" people are creative too.

Thanks I will. Trying hard to keep what's left of my rational mind in tact and working to override the chaos.

I could do with a bit of a pick me up!

But unfortunately it always brings me down.

*hugs* I've been feeling like a hypomanic epi has been trying to break through over the past few days but the lithium has been keeping it subthreshold. It's swirling around there just beneath the surface bubbling.

Keep safe! I know how good it feels and it's hard to let that go! You seem very self aware and it sounds like you're keeping a good eye on yourself and have support. Best of luck

Decided to take me off of Effexor completely. A little bit scared to do that but I think it's necessary to get the mania down. So we shall see!

Shame you can't send any of that mania my way. It's been a while since I've been hypomanic and could use a change of mood!

Hope you can keep in check enough, please tread carefully.

I know I wish I could send some of my mania to those suffering with depressive episodes. Though I'm thinking it's not gonna last much longer...I hope. I'm truly hoping dropping effexor will drop the mania.

I love that side! Wish I could hold onto it for ever. I typically don't go way off the chart , but I hate the dark side much more then I enjoy the up side. Hope you can manage it well and not have major effects.

Ain't that the truth. Who likes the depression? It far too ugly to deal with, plus it exhausting. The mania on the other hand wish I could save it for a day when depression decides to rear it's ugly head.

Think I'm slowly coming down without the Effexor today that is a relief. It's exhausting trying to be ever aware of what's going on with me when in an episode!

Effexor is an SNRI, not a SSRI. FWIW

Feeling much more down to earth. Calm and reasonable is the way to go and I'm definitely headed there.

Just out of curiosity, what's the correlation here?
Thanks for this!
