Pathetic. I'm already crying today and the day has hardly started. Spent the morning yelling at my grandma who has dementia and wasn't doing what I asked to get her ready for the day. I am a horrible person! Ugh! The tears keep trying to come out but I can't because I'm in the waiting room for my appt. Crap!

Seroquel it is. Bye bye risperidone over 12 days. Then when I get back I see her on Thursday and switch the DepakoteER to lithium. We'll see how this goes. Oh and I had a meltdown in NP's office.

Ah, that really sucks. I hope you have better luck with the Seroquel. Hope the rest of your day goes better.

Seroquel is helping my manic phase and anxiety during the day. Not sleeping as well at night but think it is the mania. I do feel like it is getting better. The agitation has thankfully resolved. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks jack123. It's good to hear it's working for you. Though we are all different it gives me hope. Really really hoping it starts to work for me I'll take my first 150mg dose tonight. So we shall see.

Yes this ^^^^

Watch your intake of carbs and sugars as this is a medication that can cause weight gain.

I hope it helps even you out and lower your anxiety
