Living in fear. I started latuda and got crazy bad restlessness panic and weepy. It hurt like hell. So I've been off it a week and those side effects stopped but I still feel off. Indifferent. I feel like at any moment I'm going to implode w side effects. I'm so fearful they're going to come back I can't get myself straight.

I am glad that your side effects stopped!
I recently went through another period of side effects with a change in meds and when I was in the midst of it, it was horrible--I think it was a mixed state. The worst part was that at first I didn't realize that it was the side effects from the med change and I thought this was going to last forever. Once the inspiration came that these were side effects from the change and I needed to ride it out, then I felt somewhat better, though I, like you, feared they would come back. A friend of mine often says to me "Don't scare yourself" because he sees that I am creating my own misery by scaring myself. I need to hear that because it is a habit for me to do so, though I am not aware that I am doing it. For me, the first step in feeling better then is to become aware that I am scaring myself about med changes or med side effects. This may take a while. Once aware, then it often helps me to remember to Take One Day at A Time or remember This Too Shall Pass. These slogans may seem corny or trite, but when I am in the midst of scaring myself, slogans simple enough to remember, not long intellectual readings or discussions that I easily forget helps me. Sometimes a day seems forever, so I then try to take 5 Minutes at a Time, and if that still is too long to hang on, then Take One Breath at a Time. Several forms of meditation focus on the breath and breath awareness and there is something calming about that for me. But I have a good Forget-er and I sometimes forget! ![]() Hang in there!

No I'm on lexapro and lamactil. Not yet I don't see her for another two weeks but I feel like there's nothing to do except grin and bear it. Having work makes it harder. Thank you so much.

Thanks a lot. That does help. The breathing helps if i can take a minute. It def does. I do create my own misery with the fear. I appreciate it.

I had the same thing happen with a different med and it was awful. I felt like I had bugs crawling on me.
