Since lexapro is just an SSRI, and 20 mg is pretty much standard maintenance level, I wouldn't expect many side effects.
Most SSRI's give me headaches, except for Prozac. Over the years I've also tried paxil, celexa, and lexapro. They've all stopped my panic attacks within a week, but never touched my mood swings or depression. Take care.

Everyone is different, but Lexapro has saved my life. Whenever I feel the depression coming on, I start taking it (with my Lamictal). It is the only drug that keeps me hanging on until the depression passes (usually 6 weeks to two months).
The only side affect I have is night sweats. I wake up dripping wet. It's not fun, but as soon as they begin I know the drug is fully in my system. Again, everyone is different and side effects vary, but I really hope it helps you.
