Well I got back with my pdoc.

He got me off the Elavil since it was causing me AD induced mania.

He got me back on the Naltrexone to help cut out the irritable cravings for alcohol.

He got me on Oxcarbazepine as a mood stabilizer at 300mg 2x/day.
No blood tests needed for this drug and very few side effects.

Through some miracle, and just like my initial hospitalization and dx, within days and def in the past few weeks, I've stabilized and have been able to implement my learned coping skills to get me back on the road to wellness.

I am not anywhere near as quick to anger which allows me to work through tough problems effectively, and has made my work and home life much more enjoyable.

Kept on with the counselor, who has helped to remind me of all the coping skills I already have and given me some good new ones.

Got back into my faith and spiritual life, which are very good for my stability and mental well being. Heading off to Mass with the fiance here soon.

Hope everyone out there is doing well or getting the help they need to get there.

Side note: Harvested a large bodied 8 point whitetail buck on Friday. The freezer is filled up again!
