I've been on Abilify for over a year now. Tegretol for about 4 months. All of a sudden I'm throwing up at night. This has been happening over the last 2-months, at a frequency of every other week. I just don't understand.

Has anyone experienced vomiting from either of these medications?

Just before I vomit, I get a little in vertigo, light headed, then my stomach turns. I've ruled out food at this point. Appreciate any feedback.

Hugs Bipolar, yuk...doesn't sound like fun at all. You've probably already thought of this, but is it consistent? Does it always happen right after dinner, before meds, after meds, when lie down etc? If its only happening at night something must be triggering it. Can you take the two meds at different times of the day? Is it worth checking crazymeds to see if there is any interactions?

Too many questions Blitter! Get in touch with your psych team/pdoc and alert them to whats happening including all the symptoms you related cause it shouldn't be. In the meantime see if you can rule out some of the variables and make sure you keep hydrated.

I hope you figure out whats going on and soon. Hugs

Abilify made me nauseous for the first couple of weeks. But then I got used to it. I've never taken Tegretol.

I would really get in touch with your pdoc. You can't go on getting sick every night. That's no way to live.
