I'm going to be aggressive and demand to know what exactly her take is on everything. I'm going to tell her the c-pap machine hasn't made a difference, and neither has anything else. I'm also going to tell here that I've never had a problem with being tired, and that her hypothesis is plain wrong. AD's poop out, Depakote is the only thing that has had a positive lasting impact. So wtf does that mean? Well, she should know what it means and if not, then @#%^ her. Leaving in 30 mins.

Well, the session was pretty much same $%^&, different day. "On a scale of 1-10...blah blah blah...What meds are you on again?" And the waiting room smelled like cat %#@&#! again. And we started about 45 minutes late...again.

But...I accomplished two things: I get to reduce the amount of effexor I'm taking, and I got her to give me some good info on her dx of me. I got a "Highly Likely" moderate BP disorder with rapid cycling and a "Definitely" Major Depression. I don't disagree with Major Depression; but I believe that they coincide with depressive episodes of BP. For example, right now I don't feel depressed. 2 days ago, I felt like crap...though not terrible.

One BAD thing: she wants me to do DBT. I don't want to do it. I hate sharing information with other people face to face. I don't trust them and I really don't think I would benefit from it. I'll be on guard the entire time, and just pissed off in general. I don't mind over the internet, as this site is great and you guys are great , though I'm still guarded to an extent.

Overall, I'd say I'm generally satisfied with today's outcome.

Well done Pug. I wouldn't want to do DBT either, have refused before when this was offered to me. Would rather have one to one. Have you thought about this?

I meet with a psychologist once a week. Is that what you mean? I mentioned to him that my pdoc wants me to do DBT in group. He said that I probably don't need it and that he can teach me some DBT concepts. Works for me. It's Pdoc day
