Often I cannot pinpoint a trigger, but once in a while I know that something has changed and changed my illness with it. This last time it was nutrition. Sometimes it is stress (good and/or bad).

What triggers you?

Spring triggers mania for me. The dead of Winter in January often triggers depression. I am a seasonal bipolar.
Thanks for this!

Stress. For sure. Major lack of sleep. Tucson, that's a good one --- getting passive-aggressive behavior from someone. Never thought about it directly, but yeah, that one gets me too.

I am positively allergic to stress. Poor sleep is another trigger, as is being exposed to crowds and loud noises. Money problems are the worst.

I bet poor sleep is a trigger for me as well. It's been over two years since I had a good night's sleep. Tonight I get hooked up to a CPAP machine for my second sleep study. Woo hoo.
