For several years, when my mind gets to racing, ideas will spin in my head when I hear tv or radio commercials. If it's a catchy slogan, I will change the words to create another slogan to the same rhyme. Or, I may change the words to the rhyme in order to create a slogan for another product, company, and etc.

I have never taken the time to keep a record of any of them. However, I am desperate to make money. Anyone here into marketing and advertising know if advertising/marketing department and firms purchase ideas such as that from individuals? If so, any clue as to the procedure for creating and processing such business transactions?

The advertisement field is like most others, where you need to know someone that knows someone....

I am SO glad I'm not the only person who does that! Christmas songs are the most productive for me, I can come up with completely new lyrics on the spot.....and promptly forget them because I never write them down! Sometimes I crack myself up doing this, and even if I don't, I get a huge kick out of being able to do it.

I hope somebody comes up with a few ideas for us. In the meantime, we ought to write this stuff down when it happens, because otherwise we WON'T remember it. Our brains are weird like that.

Is this related specifically to Bipolar? I know that racing thoughts are, but is making lyrics/changing words to tune something associated with it? I notice I do this as well, but to be honest I cannot think of a time when anybody else I'm around has done it. Sometimes I will use songs to sooth myself as well so I just start singing a made up song out loud if I'm feeling any sort of negative emotion.

Hmmm. O.o

I also suffer from this. My daughter has diagnosed me of having CSD-Chronic Singing Disorder( her own personally discovered disease). I do crack her and my husband up alot, as well as our friends. They tell me I should become a comedian because of it

from where u are nothing can do about them

if u mail them in to the ad ppl someone there will just take credit for the idea and u will never hear a word about it

the best way to make money is to get a note book and each page is for a idea ............write the idea down 1 to page as much as u can at the time when u come down look at the idea and improve it tweak it while u are lvl then from there u need to bounce it off your friends to get a read on it to see if it sounds good to them not just your one crazy head (mean that in a good way)

now once the idea is good u take it out of the notebook and put it in a binder ........repeat this until the binder is filled with refined idea

now get in a suit get hair done shave up look like a pro and go apply for a job at a AD place .......your binder is your binder u do not turn it over to them ever (if they like a idea u sell it to them if not u watch the ads and make sure they did not steal it if they did u have proof that it was your idea and u can sue them ) but u have to be **** write down everything dates and times names of ppl u sawl

to make money now with that skill your best chance is to find someone that know songs on gatar and u make up your own words to it to match the playing u can turn them to the ppl around u and they will drop money since they were worked into the song in someway nice ...........this time of year more so use x-mas and holiday songs to remix

Approaching agencies for freelance work

An alternate idea would be to create a blog or make videos to post on youtube to promote and express what you come up with. Both can be monetized, and you never know whose attention you might catch or when something might go viral.

Good for you for thinking creatively and wanting to use your racing thoughts to your advantage! Good luck!
