|
Does anyone out there struggle with excess sexual feelings when manic. It's almost debilitating to the point I can't focus in school when I'm Manic. I always have to leave school. Please tell me I'm not alone.

You are not alone. I haven't been manic in a long time but excessive sexual feeling were a big part of my manic episodes. So much so, I took chances with my life and cheated on my husband. I also have impulse control issues during manic phases, which leads me to make bad decisions even when I know they are wrong.

oh yeh, my sex drive becomes insatiable when hypo/manic. It is almost painful.

yah could drill a hole in drywall some nights ...other days get blue balls so bad got to ice them down
the only trick i know of is to think of something that is your biggest turn offs cold showers and to handle it yourself other wise u need a sex buddy or 4 |

My sex drive is also insatiable when manic. I know this is tmi but I once masturbated 10 times in one day; this while also taking out some of my frustrations on my husband. I am a stay at home mom so you can imagine the struggle. It is entirely ridiculous and thankfully I don't get SO bad very often!

Oh, that hypersexuality can get to be ridiculous!! I've never cheated on my husband, but there are PLENTY of other ways to get some satisfaction. There've been times when I had to go take care of it (very quietly) in the bathroom at work!
 I'd be walking down the hallway and all I could think of was sex, sex, and more sex. I haven't had a manic episode in awhile, but I remember that part of it very well.
