my partner just snapped at me for wanting to sleep instead of taking the dog out. I don't think they understand. it feels like no one understands...

Yes, it does seem like people don't understand. Sometimes it is really hard for us to carry out the smallest of chores. My husband had to do everything around the house during my last depressive state and sometimes he would lash out at me. I think he was overwhelmed with the responsibility that was on his shoulders because I was sick.

I hope you partner is more understanding in the future.
