After nearly 5 years I think I have found the golden combination. It also helped that a pdoc actually listened to me and the valid reasons why I didn't want other meds, such as adverse reaction and intolerable side effects. I now dont feel overly sedated and that my brain cells are inslow drip OUT of my head.
Please note due to forgetting meds, thinking I'm ok without and a dozen other Bipolar-related issues this opinion may change.

I am on those two meds (plus Lamogtrigine) and they work a treat. So glad you have found the right combo for you.
