Today my therapist suggested I have bipolar II. What does it mean?

I thought you were already dx bipolar
Bipolar depression as your signature states is not a dx on its own.its just one of the two poles The difference between bipolar 1 and 2 is with bipolar 1 you have full blown mania and with bipolar 2 yoy have hypomania

Okay it makes sense. They never specified what type in the hospital.
