So after my last hospitalization i was put on lithium for mania into mixed. It straightened me out but then the flat affect took over and i dropped it. I have been off all meds except 50-100 mg seroquel to make sure i sleep.
Started getting that catatonic black depression (booo to winter) so here i am 4 days on wellbutrin.
Got my fingers crossed! Love to hear your stories!

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes
Listen as the crowd would sing
Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!
One minute I held the key
Next the walls were closed on me
And I discovered that my castles stand
Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand

I'm really not sure if wellbutrin helps me. It didn't help in the fall when I was on 450mg. But it didn't make me manic either, like celexa and prozac did. The ECT I had worked well but I did have a depressed episode a couple of weeks back. But it wasn't as black as usual so maybe that's how the wellbutrin helps. Good luck!
