![]() But sad for you that your own expectations make you sad that you are not reaching some invisible goal. Maybe you didn't want to have the pressure of writing in it every day. Maybe that is why you didn't. And maybe you will choose to write in it even once a week and that will make you happy. Invisible goals get us down too quickly. Be happy with what you do accomplish, and be kind to yourself when you don't do all that you had hoped. I make a homemade chart instead of a journal. For me, charting a 1-10 scale of how I am doing with certain symptoms feels easier then writing whole paragraphs would. And I ONLY AM ABLE TO WRITE IN IN NEARLY 99% OF EVERY DAY, BECAUSE I KEEP IT RIGHT AT THE TABLE WHERE I SPEND SOME TIME EVERY DAY. It is always with my meds which also have to be right out in the open by where I spend every day or they would be forgotten also. Love yourself and be your own best friend. Treat yourself as kindly as you would treat others. This advice is for me, you, and all of humankind. ![]()
