Do your pupils dilate when you're manic? I just became manic this Friday and my pupils have been completely dilated for over 14 hours today, I can't even see my irises and my vision is ridiculously bad and painful. My boyfriend told me my pupils always dilate when I'm manic and that's how he knows when I'm manic.

Hey medicalfox, this happened to me before when I had a really bad manic episode. They were super dilated and stayed that way for several days, it scared me when I looked in the mirror because I thought there was something wrong with me physically

Thanks for your answers! I couldn't find anything on google search last night so I'm glad I'm not the only one.

Yes happens to me also. My Pdoc said it's very common.

Explains why I'm light sensitive and have to wear sunglasses all the time. Thanks!
