Sometimes you look at your fortune cookie and you can really relate. Most are so generic, they can relate to most. My fortune cookie today said " most people pursue happiness, you create it." I think this is quite ironic considering that I am having another one of my depressed/ suicidal/ stay the f$$$ away from me kind a days and this is my fortune. Who am I creating it for? It sure as hell isn't for me!!!

I love fortune cookies. They frequently give me fortunes that are synchronous with what I'm going through at the time.
Once I got a fortune that said, "Dwelling on the negative simply contributes to its power." I taped that **** right onto my computer monitor at work, because I'd been having such a rough time there and I had been constantly dwelling on the negative, especially about others around me. It's still up on my monitor.

Sometimes they are completely random, but funny. I got one (and keep it in my wallet) that read "If your work is not finished, blame it on the computer." Makes me laugh every time I see it. Even showed it to my boss and he loved it.

My last one said 'A tamed mind is the key to happiness'.

Try this one on for size -- "seek out the significance of your problem at this time. Try to understand." Got that one while going through a separation/divorce. Still in my purse :-)
