It has been a while since I have been in a relationship and sometimes it gets me really depressed. Other times it gets me motivated to workout and get out there. Today it was motivation and then checking online dating to feeling pretty depressed and lonely.

Anyone have any good stories on how they met their significant other?

Hi boogiesmash

Thank you for your post.

I am sorry to hear that you are not in a good place at the moment. I understand the need for longing and acceptance by a significant other, and how not being in a relationship can make you feel depressed indeed.

I guess for some yes they have met significant others through online dating sure. Just be cautious that's all.

Alot of people I know meet their "significant other" at random places like gyms etc, places they tend to hand out. It's hard to say really. Where is THE right place at THE right time where you will meet THE one.

It will happen.

You just don't know when.

Hang in there.
Thanks for this!

I can totally relate been the story of my life for about 4 years now.. I lift 5 days a week (if in not in the midst of an episode) and generally have my diet in check. And at 6'2" just over 200 lbs, lean doesnt solve the problem in itself. Maybe my desire is just gone at this point... But keep at the gym if you can, it does seem to help a bit with mood and confidence
