Does anyone else experience this? Sometimes I look a clock and two hours is gone that I can't account for. I hadn't had it happen in a while, but it happened to me yesterday when I was driving, and it really freaked me out.

I remembered seeing a sign that said a certain town was 40 miles away, and then I blinked and saw the sign that said the SAME town was a mile a way. I've tried to rationalize it by telling myself there's a town with a very similar looking name, so maybe that caused it, but I've driven this stretch so many times and honestly don't think I'd make that mistake. Apparently I drove just fine during the gap because I didn't have an accident... Doesn't surprise me too much as I've driven this stretch so much I could do it in my sleep, but it still seems kinda dangerous.

Has anyone else had similar experiences? Where you blink and then an hour or two or three is suddenly gone?

I just want to add that I read somewhere that it can happen when you're shifting between states either depressed to manic, or manic to depressed. I hope so... That'd mean this depression is lifting into mania.

Just wondering who else has experienced it.

I just looked that up. That probably does account for last night. I assumed it had to do with the missing blocks of time issue I've had before. Happens when I'm not driving, and it always freaks me out. I carry out activities and everything just fine, but the only think is, I can't remember doing it. :O

My experience is that i will drive somewhere (can be in town) and i will have a memory hiccup that sends me into panic. I either cant remember where I'm going or i have just missed where i've just come from and for a moment i feel lost. Don't know if it is associated with the disorder or not. I just know it happens.
