i've been stumped lately, feeling uncertain and confused... here goes my ramble

i have BPI diagnosis but am questioning it once again, OR maybe the meds are working great and i just cant relate with the BP emotions now since i've been "stable"

maybe my diagnosis is wrong and confused...

i've been doing alot of reading into ADHD
i have a very active mind and inquire about everything anyway but i relate a lot with the ADHD symptoms and ADHD could explain alot in my life...

im wondering if my BP diagnosis is wrong and is ADHD misdiagnosed.... OR maybe i have both BP and ADHD?
how do i know? i hate feeling like this, uncertain... i start to feel like "What am i?"

i've always had trouble understanding what im feeling im so complicated

i have a Pdoc appointment in 2 days on the 12th
im going to bring up the ADHD stuff although i have no idea how
just writing here to pass time and get others opinions

It is entirely possible to meet the DSM criteria for two illnesses. What were your symptoms prior to meds? It could ery well be as you said. YOu have stabled out the bipolar and now the little ADHD friend is popping in to say hello. Definately worth a mention to your Pdoc. He may be able to get you a definitive answer.

I think it's a good idea to discuss it with your pdoc so you will know one way or the other. I totally get how you feel about feeling complicated-some days I look at my mood journal & I just think there's no way I could feel all that & it's so hard to explain to others-take care

Hang in there so you can discuss this with your pdoc.

A dual diagnosis is not impossible; nor is a switch from one to the other; I am not sure though in your case; as I am not a medical professional.
