I've slept probably 10 hours total in the past 14 days. I try to sleep everynight but it just doesn't happen. I toss and turn and move and shake and turn the light on and off and write in my journal and check the internet or my phone all night. Even when I swear off the electronics I don't sleep. I think the reason for this particular bout of not sleeping is finals week, which is right now. I've just been revving up and up until finals week. I'm not happy though, I'm vaguely depressed, and very anxious. I've been having a hard time keeping track of dream vs. reality when I actually do get some sleep. Like I'll think I'm still sleeping when I'm actually awake and doing things. My work has not been effected and I've been able to do about 90 hours of studying for my final that's tomorrow in the past two weeks. I don't know what is going on, but I feel pretty much bleh, but with these added strange behaviors.

Time to give your Pdoc a call. Does sound like perhaps a mixed episode.

Good luck on finals. Hopefully the studying pays off. Just finished mine & I know they messed me up. I hope you can come down softly after finals week is over.

Not sleeping is always a clue that mania is started. See your psychiatrist. Also, try melatonin. No prescription needed. Or a prescription for sleeping pills. Not healthy.

Wow, you're on a lot of meds. I'd be worried about the crash that you're likely to experience after two weeks without sleep. See your pdoc as soon as you can. Good luck with your exams.
